Porcelain ginger jar with original cover.  Decorated in Doucai (underglaze blue and overglaze enamels) with a court scene including multiple figures and garden elements. Cover with lotus flower design.  Foot with underglaze blue Chengua mark within a double ring border and two old collection paper labels.
